Welcome to a new kind of Lions training!

You asked for it, you got it!

The Lions Tech Forum employs a hands-on, interactive model of training, and follows a format similar to the popular USA/Canada Forum and the Lions Leadership Forum. Choose four out of the twelve sessions for a full day of learning about technology.

Bring your laptop (or tablet*) and participate in small, intimate class settings where you follow along with the instructor in real-time. Wi-Fi in the classroom allows you to get online while you work.

Longer classroom sessions allow for enough time to get all your questions answered as you work on solving your real-world challenges.

Your Lions instructors are knowledgeable and experienced in helping their fellow Lions learn to use technology to further their clubs’ service missions.

Class subjects are determined by feedback given in previous Lions training sessions, and cover such topics as:

  • Personal security online
  • Creating a club website
  • Using Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media
  • Online collaboration
  • Blogging with WordPress
  • And more

* Some class sessions may cover tasks that cannot be performed on a tablet device.
